01 // Pipeline Ingestion & Schedule

MV Civic Data runs an automated ingestion cron job weekly every Saturday at 3:00 AM EST. This schedule synchronizes with municipal document posting windows, capturing weekly agenda additions and zoning packets while keeping data fresh for Monday morning planning.

1. Headless Playwright scrapers harvest raw agendas and exhibits.
2. OCR pre-processors extract text layers from scanned and notarized PDFs.
3. Google Gemini models parse parcel data, development intents, and footprints.
4. Validated records update the master Leaflet map dataset on Cloud Firestore.

The sensor pipeline currently extracts commercial intelligence from 8 active municipal portals across the Miami Valley region:

03 // Lead Anatomy & Data Fields

Each card on the dashboard contains structured fields generated from municipal packets:

  • Project Title: The official or commercial project name filed by the developer or civil engineer.
  • Address / Parcel ID: The physical location geocoded into precise GPS coordinates for map plotting.
  • Municipality: The governing jurisdiction overseeing the application.
  • Context Snippet: An extracted summary highlighting the proposed footprint, zoning variance, or commercial scope.

04 // Source Document Auditing

Trust in civic intelligence requires primary source verification. Every lead links directly to the raw, unmodified municipal PDF hosted on our private document archive at docs.mvcivicdata.com.

Clicking "Open Raw Document ↗" in the side action panel opens the exact municipal agenda packet in an encrypted window, enabling contractors to review architectural drawings, civil exhibits, and staff reports firsthand.

05 // Billing & Subscription Management

Subscriptions are managed directly through the Stripe Customer Portal. From inside the dashboard, hover over your profile initials in the top right and select "Manage Billing & Unsubscribe" to update payment methods, download invoices, or cancel recurring plans at any time.
